Last night, I made chocolate chip cookies.
The same chocolate chip cookies that are featured in my kitchen on my chocolate chip cookie poster. If you'd like, feel free to print out my chocolate chip cookie wall art, inspired by this but reproduced with my Granny's chocolate chip cookie recipe AKA the best chocolate chip cookie recipe.
And if you're just interested in the recipe?
Granny's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup butter1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Cream together softened butter and white and brown sugar. I use salted butter and 1/4 tsp salt because I'm a rebel. Or maybe because that's how Granny does it.
- Add in eggs & vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Gradually add flour mixture.
- Using a large spoon, mix in the package of chocolate chips.
- Use a teaspoon to spoon dough onto un-greased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden.
